Jack-o'-lantern Shaker Card

 

Happy Friday! 

Here's a fun Jack-o'-lantern Shaker Card for Halloween.  It makes me smile to see that pumpkin face with sequins, glass glitter and micro beads shining though it's face.  The bats are covered with shiny black foil.  Clouds and background have pearlescent Distress Crayon rubbed over them.

BOO! Halloween Card

 Happy Fall everyone! 

Where I live in Minnesota, the air has a chill to it and October is just a day away.  With October comes Halloween!  

Today, I posted this fun BOO! Happy Halloween Card on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.  There are step out photos and directions showing how to make it as well as supply list.  

It features foil from Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors on word BOO!.  It has a nice shine which isn't quite visible in my photo. 

The word BOO! is cut from black cardstock with Adhesives Sheets 4 x 6in. applied to front and then die cut.

After peeling adhesive liner, metallic foil is place over word, rubbed and foil then peeled away.  It's a fun technique and I like the metallic color and sheen.

Halloween Treat Bag

 Hello crafty friends! 

As I write this, it is the end of September.  As October looms around the corner, Halloween will soon be here.  I tend to be a last-minute person most of the time but today I'm way ahead by sharing a Halloween Treat Bag.  Of course, it's always good to make ahead to be ready for treats!

The basic treat bag is quite easy to make with #8 white tags and some scraps of white cardstock.  It can easily be made with cardstock cut to same size as #8 tags which is 3.125 x 6.25 inches.

I stamped and used Distress Spray Stains on the front tag but it could easily be decorated with decorative papers, die cuts or a different stamped design.  It's so easy to make and assemble with Crafty Power Tape!

A Halloween Cat

This is one of my favorite stamps in Penny Black's Transparent set called "Spooky"!

Isn't he fun! So like a cat to sit prim and proper while watching for a chance to attack those bats!

I used a Spellbinders Circle die to cut him out. I cut the lower portion of the circle off. I cut another black circle the same size and mounted it behind the white circle. I trimmed it a little bigger so there's a border of black at the bottom.

I stamped the royal blue paper with stars from the"sentiments" transparent set from Penny Black using Versamark ink.
Two narrow ribbons create the lines across the bottom. It's mounted on a Bazzill orange paper (don't know the name of it).
"Happy Halloween"is also from "Spooky".


I used these Copic markers: B29,E31, E33, E42, E44, R30, W1, W3, W5, Y000, Y17, YR 20, YR68.


A fun card to make! I will use it for one of my grandchildren...........2 more to make.
