Make Your Heart Sing Tag

Today, I've made a vintage looking tag to share.  I really struggled with coming up with an idea for a project this time.  So I started sorting through bits and pieces for past projects, things I couldn't quite throw away.  I found some hearts and a verse that would work with it and this tag evolved...

I used an easy technique to apply torn pieces of old book page to start the background on the tag.  Simply apply   to tag and then lay pieces of book page on it leaving gaps between pieces.  I used Distress Glaze to sprinkle into the exposed adhesive areas and heat embossed with heat tool.  From there, I applied several Distress ink colors rubbed onto the tag.  I also stamped foliage and script with permanent black ink.

All these details and more are on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today. Just click HERE to see all the directions with photos.
