Today, I have photos of my ensemble created for this book, Spellbinders Nestabilities Basics & Beyond.
As I mentionned in my last post, my assignment was to create something elegant for wedding or anniversary. I created my ensemble to work for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. I designed 2 cards and a memory book.
I used both gold and ivory pearlescent papers for the cards and book. I embossed some parts for texture. You'll be able to see that better on the individual photos below.
The Thank You card has an embossed frame out of ivory paper. The gold background piece is alos embossed. I used a piece of window screen to get that great texture! It's beautiful in the pearlescent paper. It takes the pattern so well. I JustRite's Baroque Nested Frames set for stamp for "thank you".
The "Best Wishes" card uses the same pearlescent papers, just combined differently. The oval frame is embossed over window screen with the Spellbinders die templates in place which creates the nice smooth borders. Many layers and 2 gold bows really dress it up! The verse is from JustRite's Victorian Nested Frames.
And finally, the memory book. "Remember When" is a stamp from JustRite's Cherish the Memories stamp set. The book is aproximately 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". I used lightweight chipboard for the covers. I used spray adhesive to adhere the pearlescent paper to the chipboard. Again, the book like the cards has multiple frames and layers of gold and ivory paper. I added a few pearls and two gold bows. The bow had pearls on it, too.
Thanks for visiting!

What a Treasure. These are beautiful.
Would love to know what you used for the other embossing besides the window screen. I know it had to be something you could use to emboss while the piece was still inside the Spellbinders die. This is such a beautiful set!!!!
Gorgeous project Judy!! This was even more beautiful in person.
