A Blossom Birthday Card

Yippee!  Spellbinders posted more of my projects on the website.  That means I can share them with you!

I'm really busy with a special project this week!  No time for anything new for my blog.  I'm so happy Spellbinders posted new things!  If you'd like to see them before I post more here, check out the Idea Gallery.

I created this birthday card with Spellbinders S5-072 Blossom Tags and Accents die templates.  I simply cut the Blossom pieces of various papers and stacked then in the center of my card cut with LF-161 Grand Labels One.
I've sanded the edges of the biggest blossom, brown one.  The next one with lacey loops was simply cut.  On top of that I layered a smaller brown blossom laced with sheer blue ribbon tied in a bow.  The openings are just perfect for weaving 1/4" ribbon!  The tiny center has floss stitched through the holes and a button in the center.  I stamped my birthday verse with Espresso ink and then cut the tag with another shape from Blossom Tags and Accents.  I sanded the edges.  I cut another one of brown paper, cut it in halp lenghtwise and glued it behind my tag for a narrow border on top and bottom.
All papers are from GCD Ella Blue.  A great assortment of mix and match dusty blue and brown papers!
The card base is Worldwin Treasures Canvas card stock.

If you'd like to see a sneak peak of my August projects, check out this story on Scrapbooks Etc,  In the 2nd photo, the scrapbook page, decorated candle and card on the table in the bottom corner of the photo are all my projects!  I'll be sure to share them here when I can.

Thanks for visiting!
