I chose to work with JustRite cling sets Fancy Tags and Vintage Floral Labels. My original idea for a card was to have a tag come out of the square center of the Vintage Floral design. I used that idea as a start for this wedding card. After that, this card evolved in a direction of its own! If you were to ask me for directions for this, I'd have a hard time telling you!
I can tell you that all the stamping is done with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed. I used Spellbinders LF-161 Grand Labels One #3 to cut the card and black glossy mat and #2 to cut the stamped mat. For the design element, I used Spellbinders S4-161 Labels One and S4-308 Labels One SM. These all work so well together for layering!!!
The Nestabling from Want2Scrap fits perfectly along the edge of my Labels One!
After I stamped the design and added the Nestabling, I sprayed it with Cosmic Shimmer Mist Bronze Blush. I also used Cosmic Acrylic Drawing Ink to color the floral design and the pattern on the tag. The fine brush works so well on the fine details.
The background stamped mat was created by stamping along the edge with a small stamp from JustRite Vintage Floral Labels. I painted the Cosmic Shimmer Mist on parts of the floral pattern. I shaded the edges with Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Tea Dye Distress inks. The paper was white when I started! In fact, I used all white paper besides the black glossy paper.
A different look for a wedding card!
