Masculine Birthday Card

Hello friends!

A change in style....definitely more grunge!

I created this card for my son's birthday.  It's personalized to his day.

I started with round gauge by adding 3D Foam Circle around it and embossing it with Distress Prize Ribbon Glaze.  While it was hot from embossing, I pressed a needle tool into the to add ridges. 

The card evolved from that gauge and number "13" both from an Idea-ology Halloween Layers ephemera package.  Sometimes, I just the creative vibes lead me!

I put Prize Ribbon Glaze on photo corners to add to 2 corners and as little "arrows" on the side.  

Lots of layers of stamping and inks on the background.  Something I haven't done in a long time but truly enjoy!

Pumpkin Gnomes

 Hello!  

Today, I'm sharing some Pumpkin Gnomes!  Aren't they cute?

These are all on one stamp perfect for a slim line card.  

I used Distress Oxide ink re-inkers as watercolor to paint them.  I added some Rock Candy Glitter to the white hat brims and pompoms. It didn't photograph well though.

The center gnome is cut out and popped up with 3D Foam Squares.

A Countryside Fall Card

Hello!  Here's a fun Happy Fall card!  

I stepped out of my usual color scheme for this card.  I love how it turned out! 

I used Sizzix by Tim Holtz "Countryside" die set.  Love the little houses! I cut those out of white cardstock and colored them with markers.

First Day of School Scrapbook Page

Here's scrapbook page for First Day of School for my granddaughter, a new school and new year. She loves it!

 All papers, stickers and embellishments are from Simple Stories Collections Essentials Kit "School Life".   Colors worked so well with Laurens outfit!  

I used a alphabet die set Alphanumeric Bold by Tim Holtz to die cut her name from 3D Foam Craft Sheet with black cardstock on it.

I haven't done a scrapbook page in a long time....this one was fun to put together!

It's been awhile....

 Well, it's certainly been awhile since I posted here!  It seems I occasionally post to Instagram or Facebook and forget about my blog.  

I'm always making something....just not always taking photos!

Here's a project I made for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L for September.

It's a folio style card somewhat like a billfold.  It folds to card size and can easily be mailed.

I used papers and stickers from Simple Stories Collections Essential Kit "Happily Ever After".  I added some 3D Foam Hearts from Scrapbook Adhesives and put foil on them.
